Week 7 Weigh-in!

Whoa! We are almost done! After this weigh in we have ONE weigh in left before it's all over and we declare our winner!

Before we wrap up the last week, how did you do during the challenge so far? What were your original goals and how close did you get to achieving them? What areas did you improve? What might need some more improving?

Week 4 Weigh-in!

Alright folks, we are half way through this thing! You guys are doing SO AWESOME!! Go ahead and link up those weigh-ins (I think I did it right this time)

This weeks mini challenge: 12 minutes of Planks - you do not have to do all 12 mins at once, until you want to. Just 12 minutes total between now and next weigh-in. And if you want to challenge yourself to do more, go for it!

Checking up on you Get Fitters

Week three is coming to a close! Just a couple more days to push yourself and burn those calories! With the weekend coming up try to get outside and soak up the sun. As it starts to get warmer outside, it's the perfect time to go hiking or go for a swim! Pack the kids up and have a beach day or a picnic. Just remember to pack up the sunscreen and stay hydrated!

Another way I like to hydrate after a good workout is with one of my favorite after-workout protein smoothie. (Although you could skip the protein and simply enjoy the smoothie:)

Fitness Punch Smoothie:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries 
- 1/2 a fresh banana (the riper the better)
- 8 oz apple juice
- 1 scoop of vanilla or strawberry protein power
- Ice

Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend until mixed.

Congratulations ladies! I know a lot of us had a gain this week (including me), but this is a new week and all I can say is remember the reasons you started this journey. Not just this challenge, but this journey as a whole. Everyone has off weeks, we all take steps back. We have to pick ourselves back up and get keep moving forward!

Personally, I find seeing others weight loss success to be very motivational! Good luck with week 4!
